The wind ranking is computed when you open the page, using the latest reading for each beach. No figures are published in the static HTML because they would stop being true within hours.

Which beaches in Tenerife are least windy today? Wind in Tenerife changes a lot from coast to coast: the south-east (El Médano, La Tejita) takes the trade wind head on, while the south-west and beaches sheltered by the relief are often far calmer. This page compares the wind measured right now across the beaches published in Octabia and shows the three calmest ones, with speed, direction, gusts and the quietest forecast window.
How this comparison is calculated
We take the beaches published in Octabia, read the most recent wind speed for their weather municipality and sort them from lowest to highest. Ties are broken by maximum gust. No commercial preference is applied and no other scoring is added. A beach with no recent wind reading is left out of the comparison instead of being estimated.

Wind and temperature come from the weather providers integrated in Octabia and cached per municipality; the real retrieval time is shown in Canary time.
